London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 Arrivals and flight connection information.
London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 mainly operates long-haul flights, with some to European destinations as well.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Please Note: All flights at London Heathrow airport are currently operating from Heathrow Terminals 2, 3 and 5. Heathrow Terminal 4 is used for Red List Countries Arrivals.
Arrivals are located on the left at the north end of the building on the ground floor.
Check-In and Flight Arrivals are located on the ground floor at the front of the building and Flight Departures are above check-in on the first floor.
International connections do not require going through Immigrations but all International to Domestic connections do. Domestic to International connecting passengers can use special Immigration checkpoints if baggage is already checked.
Information points are located on the Ground Floor in the Arrivals Lounge close to seating area.
Meeting points for Heathrow Terminal 3 are on the ground level in arrival lounge close to seating area. Signs are very well posted.
Inter-terminal transport
Terminal 3 and Terminal 2 are connected by an underground walkway. Its about 10 minutes walk between both terminals and signs are very well posted.
Heathrow Express rail service provides free access to Terminals 4 and Terminal 5. (Inter-terminal connections between Terminal 3 and Terminal are currently suspended.)
You can also take the London Underground to Terminals 4 and 5, but this service is only free to Oyster card holders.
A number of buses are available between the Central Bus Station (Terminals 2 and 3) and the other terminals, although trains are more convenient for those with luggage. Buses between terminals are free of charge.
Taxi Services
Black Cabs (metered taxi) are available from outside the terminal building, you do not need to reserve these in advance.
In addition to being a central terminal at London Heathrow Airport, it is well connected to the M4 through a spur road and tunnel under the north runway.
The Piccadilly Line (Tube) provides direct access to Heathrow Terminal 3 from Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 stations. Trains run to Cockfosters via Central London from Terminal 3. Heathrow Express connects Heathrow terminal 3 to Paddington Station in London.
London Heathrow Terminal 3 is a short walk from Heathrow Central bus station, where National Express connects Heathrow Airport to most destinations in the UK.
Heathrow Shuttle offers low cost door to door private airport transportation services to and from London Heathrow Terminal 3 to any destination in the UK. All private airport transfers must be booked in advance.
Heathrow Shuttle driver will meet you inside the arrival lounge with your name board and will driver you directly to your destination anywhere in the UK.

There is no free parking on forecourts or short stay car parks at Heathrow Terminal 3, But there is free 2 hours parking available in Long stay car park.
Depends on where are you arriving from please allow between 30 minutes and 2 hours.
You should leave enough time to check in, recommended check in time is as follow;
• International flights: Minimum 3 hours
• European flights: Minimum 2 hours
• Domestic flights: Minimum 90 minutes
Boarding usually begins around 45 minutes before departure but please check with your airline.
Yes, you can drop off on forecourts, waiting is not allowed on forecourts, From 1 Nov 2021 there will be a drop off charge of £5.00 for each time you visit the forecourts.
